Our notes on the published hobby configuration — what the box is built to hit, and what breakers actually hunt. We do not invent a checklist or an odds sheet. If a lane is thin, the manufacturer has not posted it yet.
Hobby box
Flagship hockey hobby. Recent years: 24 packs. Cards 1–250 of the set. Veterans, Young Guns, Canvas, and the first Young Guns chase of the season.
Autographs
UD autographs mixed through inserts. Young Guns themselves are not autos — they are the short-print rookie cards. Do not buy Series 1 as an auto box.
Relics
Jersey relics exist; they are not the reason you buy Series 1. Young Guns and Canvas are.
Short prints
Young Guns are the short-print rookies everyone chases. That is the SP, not a photo variation.
Parallels / variations
Outburst, UD Exclusives, and the numbered Young Guns parallels. Numbered YGs are the cards that move.
What people chase
Young Guns rookies, Canvas, and the first-half flagship set. Series 2 is the other 250 cards, including late YGs.
